ABOUT ME
I am a marketing communications executive specializing in business-to-business messaging, content and media relations. I typically work fulltime and teach on the side. It's busy but I wouldn't have it any other way: one feeds the other.
I spent the early part of my career in Washington, DC working in public affairs and then moved to Boston where I spent more than a decade working for global marketing and PR agencies and large law firms. Later, I found my way to New York where I was fortunate to experience PR at its most exciting: high-impact issues, highly-skilled colleagues, issues that were intellectually challenging. For anyone in media, working in New York offers an unparalleled experience. I am fortunate to have worked in three major cities, each a center of government, commerce or innovation.

In 2005 I started my adjunct journey. I teach because I am a storyteller and creator at my core. Being an adjunct professor provides me a guaranteed opportunity each week to craft and share a story, and design a new learning environment.
I am the proud mom of a college student who is also pursuing a liberal arts degree, playing her chosen sport and generally loving the college experience. When I'm not working or adjuncting, I am cooking healthy recipes, writing, reading, working out or rediscovering my artistic ability.
